​The Iowa Ready Mixed Concrete Association was formed in 1949 as a state organization representing the ready mixed concrete industry. Its membership includes ready mixed concrete producers, material suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and other companies interested in promoting the use of ready mixed concrete.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
This statewide, not-for-profit association was organized for the following purposes:
· To facilitate the sharing of information and resources and to promote the common business interests of companies marketing ready mixed concrete.
· To develop, promote, conduct, and establish new quality methods of management, manufacture, mixing, delivery, and use of ready mixed concrete.
· To provide contractors, specifiers, and the public with information regarding ready mixed concrete.

An inclusive, member-focused association dedicated to increasing the use of ready mixed concrete and strengthening standards of the industry through promotion, advocacy, and technical resources.
